Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenznhou City hosted the 17th Executive Meeting of Chenzhou Government on May 31, 2013. It was mainly for the discussion and study of current economic condition, infrastructure construction of accessibility facilities in urban area and etc..

From January to April, 32.19 billion yuan of the fixed asset investment was fulfilled with an increase rate of 37.5%, 11.1% higher than Hunan provincial level; industrial added value of industrial enterprises above designated size hit 26.3% with a growth of 12%, 1.5% higher than Hunan provincial level; agricultural added value was amounted to 6.606 billion yuan, up 4.6%; paid-in foreign investment was reached $330 million, up 55.9%; $725 million of import and export value was finished with an increase of 74.6%, ranking first increase rate of Hunan province.

It was required at the meeting that current economic condition should be fully grasped to analyze the gaps in the performance of economy; further enhanced work should be carried out confidently with strong confidence, especially on the 8 key work as project construction, industry economy, industrial undertaking, agricultural production, development of service industry, safety production and flood control, “three establishments” project, environment optimization, etc.; all the departments should focus on the key points to settle the problems within the final 30days of the first half year to fulfill the target set in the beginning of this year.

A detailed discussion was handled on the infrastructure construction of accessibility facilities in urban area. Followed with the national standards on “three establishments” project and the practical condition of Chenzhou city, accessibility facilities construction would be promoted on urban areas main roads, city squares, city greening lands, public buildings, etc. in the following 2 years.

It was pointed out at the meeting that it was an intrinsic requirement for the city upgrading to implement the construction of accessibility facilities in the city. It would be greatly help to upgrade the level of Chenzhou city’s construction and management of accessibility facilities provide the disabled, the aged and children with a more convenient living condition. All the departments should pay high attention on this project to promote it forcefully with sound implementation, working plan, construction and management to make sure it can be effective in future.
