Linwu county placed the greening work of establishment of forest city on the top issue list in 2013, so large scale of labor force, material resources and funds were mobilized on this work. With the whole county’s great efforts, a comprehensive greening work was covered and fulfilled in the county.

In order to make sure the greening work of establishment of forest city can be carried out well, times of working promotion conference, scheduling conference, on-site conference, etc. were held by the leaders of county party committee and county government. A sound leadership mechanism with specified management responsibility was formed in the county. At the meantime, special funds were issued to handle the greening work and some forestry professors were hired to draw up the working plan. All of the above measures vigorously helped to promote the establishment of forest city.

Furthermore, village “first secretaries” who were selected from the cadres of county departments were dispatched to the branches of village party to handle the greening work of the villages. All the details as preliminary work, working plan, funds, construction process, etc. were followed well by the “first secretaries”, which ensured all the greening work to be promoted smoothly in the villages.
