The quarter final of “Happy Xiaoxiang, Beautiful Chenzhou” art performance was launched in the afternoon of July 27, 2013 in Chenzhou Media Group’s studio center. 22 programs selected from 11 counties (cities) of Chenzhou city were performed there to present a visual feast with unique Chenzhou local features to the audience.

Water drum dance entitled “take-off” was the premier of the performance. After that, songs, dances, folk songs, dance of minorities, and other programs with Chenzhou elements and Chenzhou folk features were performed on the stage.

It was introduced that “Happy Xiaoxiang, Beautiful Chenzhou” art performance was received positive response from the masses. All the 22 programs shown in that afternoon were written and played by the masses. The excellent ones selected from this final quarter would be shown in Hunan provincial art performance.
