In order to make sure all the relief supplies can be prepared before No. 12 typhoon “Tam Mei”, Lei Xiaoda- Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City checked the preparation work of relief supplies on August 22, 2013 and emphasized that enhanced relief supplies reservation should be carried out by relative departments to meet all the demands of Chenzhou city.

Lei and his team checked the warehouse of material for flood control and drought relief of Chenzhou Municipal Water Conservancy Bureau and the stockpile of Chenzhou city’s relief supplies. It was purposely to check the quantities of the supplies and other reserving issues by this investigation trip.

According to the statistic, woven bags, woven cloth, stand steel tubes, life jacket, cork hoop, flood control cages, etc. were well prepared by the warehouse of material for flood control and drought relief of Chenzhou Municipal Water Conservancy Bureau. At the meantime, cotton quilts, cotton coats, tents and some contact points were prepared by the stockpile of Chenzhou city’s relief supplies.

After checking all the preparation work handled out by the relative departments, Lei stated that the expired goods should be declared on time to prepare the replacement, and reservation work should be handled out well on the basis of local condition.
