It was reported that an on-site promotion conference of water conservancy work was held in Anren county, Chenzhou city recently. It was required on the conference that all departments should work hard on the basis of water ecological civilization construction to fight for meeting all annual targets and promoting the ecological, safe and sustainable development of water conservancy.

All the attendants visited some rural small hydraulic projects and some achievements of the reform of water conservancy system in Anren county November 14, 2013. They were impressed with the improvement of Anren county’s water conservancy work and agreed that its experience worth to be promoted widely.

2013 is the crucial year of Chenzhou city’s water conservancy construction. As of November 10, main work of reinforcement for 89 dangerous reservoirs which were listed in Hunan provincial and Chenzhou municipal well-being projects list have been finished; safe drinking water project for 0.21 million people has been solved, covering 85.4% of the plan; 84.72kms small rivers governance projects have been completed, accounting for 96% of the plan; 2 more key counties of small-scale water conservancy have been added in earlier 7 ones list; some actions as “double ten-thousand” have been handled out well, and etc. All the work carried out above was greatly helpful to promote the innovative improvement of water conservancy of Chenzhou city.

Zhong Zaiqun- Deputy Director of Hunan Provincial Water Resources Ministry and Lei Xiaoda- Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City attended the conference and delivered important speeches there.
