It was learned from Yizhang Housing Bureau that 37.5kms pipe network of the second phase of its urban sewage treatment projects has been finished, which was ahead of the assessment time schedule. “Three supplies and one leveling” work also has been fulfilled in the plant area and was about to place to construction. It was estimated to be placed to operation next June.

In order to improve the urban sewage facilities and upgrade the living condition and water quality of Yizhang county, the county government seized the chance of national urban sewage treatment and recycling facilities planning listed on“twelfth five-year plan” and figured out “special planning for Yizhang urban sewage treatment pipe network construction”accordingly. Followed with the planning, last March 104 million yuan investment was placed on the second phase of its urban sewage treatment projects, including plant area’s construction and pipe network construction. Once finished, the sewage treatment capacity would be reached 20,000tons/day. The construction time for the projects was from March 2012 to December 2015. In order to finish the project earlier, the county government enrolled it into the key projects list of“three-year project of urban area construction” and new urbanization construction to promote it with the best resources and policies. It was introduced, once finished, both the old and new urban areas would be covered in the sewage pipe network and the total treatment capacity for both first and second phase of the project would be up to 40,000tons/day.
