On-site conference for winter agriculture work was held in Anren County recently. It was learned that the total sown areas of autumn and winter crops were amounted to 3million mu. The main index of cultivated land was up 3% and per capita of rural agricultural production can reach 1000yuan approximately. Gong Fengxiang- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee attended the conference and delivered a speech there.

The attendees visited repairmen project of Cha’an Water Reservoir, rural comprehensive reform of Yuantian Village, cole production base of Field Park, and etc. before the conference. In this autumn and winter, Chenzhou City will pay special attention on following three points: keeping stable yield of grain and oil, upgrading the yield of economic plants, and expanding the green fertilization.

The work concerned for winter water conservancies, epidemic prevention, forestation, tobacco leaves, and etc. were deployed on the conference. All the counties and districts submitted their liability forms on forest fire control on the conference. 

Gong Fengxiang stated that winter agricultural work is an effective way to upgrade the comprehensive production capacity of agriculture industry, as well as the practical demands of promoting popular tourism and important support for fulfilling annual targets. All departments should well study the situation and enhance the sense of responsibility of well handling winter agricultural work; should pay special attention on the key points and handle winter agricultural work comprehensively; should optimize the working style to improve relative work; and should implement the policies to ensure the work to be with real effects.

Gong required that stable volume, optimization of structure, upgrading of effects, and improvement of mechanism should be highlighted on the winter agricultural work; more attention should be placed on greening and oil tea industry for improving winter forestry, and cultivation work should be handled scientifically, as well as the forest fire control work; investment attraction, arrangement of capitals, and progress of projects should be well handled out for the winter water conservancy projects; and epidemic prevention work should be enhanced. At the meantime, the working style should be improved as well.
