It was learned from Chenzhou Urban Planning Bureau that “Special planning for Chenzhou Urban Sports Facilities” which was submitted by Chenzhou Urban Planning and Design Institute was enrolled into the award winner list in 2015 Chinese Excellent Urban and Rural Planning Design Award. It was awarded with the 3rd prize which is the highest level won by applicants from Hunan Province.

The selection of the awards was launched in August 2015. 1134 projects were submitted by the candidates from 28 provinces,autonomous regions, and cities of China. Followed the “Solution for the selection of Chinese excellent urban and rural planning design awards”, 451 items were awarded with different prizes.

In recent years, the institute followed the service strategy and upgraded its technologies, which greatly optimized the designs level. Some urban and rural planning designs worked out by the institute won many prizes in Hunan Province. It provided powerful supports for the development of Chenzhou City’ urban construction.

It was introduced that the “The special planning for Chenzhou urban sports facilities” was guided by the improvement of international and modern city. It is purposely to improve the health condition of the masses. This comprehensive design well illustrated the connotation of “sports, health, happy” of Chenzhou City which is the sports city of China.
