December 26, the party government officials of Suxian district and Zixing city communicated and docked about the related matters of jointly developing Gao Yiling area.

Gaoyiling, south of Mount Feitianshan in Suxian District and north of Zixing Dawangzhai, is a typical Danxia landform and beautiful scenery. With the open of Ziwu highway and Chenyong avenue, Gaoyiling is no longer “Kept in purdah people unknown " and a large number of tourists are into here every year. But there is no standardized tourism development, so there are some security risks. The first half of this year, Zixing and Suxian took effective measures and closed management for the Gaoyiling area, to prevent security incidents.

According to the unified deployment of the city, Chenzhou City Tourism Bureau led the preparation of the Gaoyiling Scenic Area planning, covering about 11 square kilometers, including Suxian area and Zixing city’s parts of the boundary. The scenic area is a combination of outdoor recreational sports, tourism, eco-agriculture and other integrated tourism projects. The project plans to invest 1 billion yuan in one and two stages.

In order to ensure the identity and coordination of project development, Gaoyiling area is the first phase of the project development. The project involves the boundary between the Xiaohetang village in Suxian area and Dawangzhai village in Suixian district.

In the matchmaking meeting, the two sides agreed that the development of Gaoyiling area is good project to promote the Chenzhou city tourism and benefit to the peoples of Zixing and Suxian. The responsibilities and achievements are common in both places. Zixing and Suxian have done a lot of preliminary work before and the two places will continue to follow the Chenzhou municipal committee and government's deployment, taking the initiative to form a tacit understanding, common good project planning, land leasing and other related matters, to promote the smooth construction of the project in order to make a positive contribution for achieving the key cultural tourism scenic connection among Chenzhou City, Zixing, and Yongxing.
