On March 29, there are full of people in Yuntou Acadamy, Luyang Town, Rucheng County. The revolutionary film "The First Army Flag" created and directed by the Xiaoxiang Film Group was shot officially here.

To celebrate the 90th anniversary of the army, since the first half of 2016, Xiaoxiang Film Group has planned to launch a major revolutionary historical theme film. Through understanding the whole revolutionary history of Hunan, Xiaoxiang Film Group determined to make a film in the title of the birth of "The First Army Flag". Accordingly, Party Secretary and President of Xiaoxiang Film Group Zhou Pixue repeatedly led to research in Rucheng and other places. The famous screenwriter Wang Yifei deeply researched the history and collected the advice of experts to create the literary script of "The First Army Flag".

The film restores the past of the little-known revolutionary history based on our Party's first army flag born in Rucheng. The film tells the story that under the era of "white terror", the revolution was raging like a storm in Rucheng known as "new Hunan" by our Party central leadership and under the direction and arrangement of central, a plurality of revolutionary forces organized the first revolutionary army of workers and peasants to officially show the first army flag.

It was understood that the main filming location of "The First Army Flag" is Rucheng, and the process will be integrated into the local history, culture, characteristic resources, ecological beauty and other elements. The film will be launched before the 90th anniversary of the army.
