Recently, Chenzhou's first county-level standard relief supplies reserve started to construct in the community of South Kuanggong Road, Tangdong Street, Zixing City.

It was reported that the site, layout, design standards, construction and related equipment configuration of the relief supplies reserve were implemented according to the county-level standards of "relief supplies reserve construction standards" of the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The project covers an area of 1,400 square meters, including the warehouse, the production auxiliary room, management room, ancillary room and etc., a total of 630 square meters and also including outdoor freight yard, observation field, parking and other facilities.

The project plans to invest 3 million yuan and is expected to be completed before July this year. The completion of the project will fill the gap of Chenzhou's county-level standard relief supplies reserve, but also will be an important measure to promote the disaster prevention, reduction and relief system construction in Zixing County.

The completion of the project can protect the emergency resettlement population of 5,000 to 7,000 people and can greatly enhance Zixing City's emergency rescue capabilities of dealing with natural disaster to let the affected people get timely rescue.
