On May 25, Hunan spiritual civilization construction work commendation conference commended the Hunan civilized city, civilized villages and towns, civilized industry, civilized units, civilized model units, civilized families in 2016 and the 67 units (families) in our city were commended. The total number of awards ranked the forefront of the province.

Zixing City, Guidong County and Anren County successfully created the Hunan civilized city in 2016. Sanhe Village Huatang Town Beihu District and other eight villages and towns, Municipal Party Committee Office and other 40 units, organs of Municipal CPPCC and other 9 units, Tan Jihong and other 7 families were rated as the Hunan civilized villages and towns, civilized units, civilized model units and civilized families in 2016.

The advanced groups of Hunan spiritual civilization construction were selected and commended every two years. Over the past two years, our city took creating the national civilized city as the leader, and cultivating and practicing the socialist core values as the main line, carried out the theme activities of "love Linyi, most beautiful Chenzhou", highlighted the civilized creation dynamic management, global civilized creation and typical demonstration lead, guided to promote the creation in the cities and counties, and promoted the work experience in building a national civilized city in the province. Our city made a typical speech on experience in the provincial rural spiritual civilization construction conference. Our city took the "beautiful country" as the theme, extensively carried out activities to create spiritual civilization in the countryside with the town-driving-country and co-work policy, vigorously promoted the rural culture construction, and spread the good family tradition; focused on the promotion of "the best person in Chenzhou", highlighted the typical and leading demonstration, and formed the good social customs of "learning from good people, striving to be good". The creative level in whole city has obviously increased, the overall quality of the spiritual civilization construction has been improved and the civilization quality of the citizens and the civilization level in urban and rural areas have been greatly improved, to promote the overall economic and social development of the city.
