Recently, the National Product Recycling Fundamentals and Management Standardization Technical Committee formally approved our city to set up the nonferrous metal solid waste working group of National Product Recycling Foundation and Management Standardization Technical Committee, which was established by the Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau. This is the first time in our city to approve the establishment of the National Standardization Technical Committee Working Group.

The nonferrous metal solid waste working group belongs to the National Product Recycling Fundamentals and Management Standardization Technical Committee. It carries out the exchanges and public promotion on nonferrous metal solid waste recycling standardized technology with the national recycling policy guidance and relying on the National Nonferrous Metals Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Hunan), and organizes the standardization research to accelerate the process of market research.

Chenzhou is known as "Nonferrous Town in China". There are a large number of tailings, metallurgical slag and other nonferrous metal solid waste each year with the mining and processing of mineral resources. The establishment of working group in Chenzhou will play an important role in promoting the comprehensive utilization and development of nonferrous metals in our city, raising the level of industrial development, enhancing the core competitiveness of industry and standard lead, improving the standard system, combining the standards with industry and other respects.

In order to strive for the working group settled down in Chenzhou, the Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau has repeatedly reported and discussed with the National Bureau of Quality Inspection and National Institute of Standardization according with the requirements of the Municipal Party Committee and municipal government, and has got the support from the National Bureau of Quality Inspection and National Institute of Standardization. After the Working Group establishment, the Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau will give full play to their functional advantages, and build the nonferrous metal solid waste resource recycling standard systems in 5 aspects, including the nonferrous metal solid waste classification and standard system, nonferrous metal solid waste resource recycling technology standard system, nonferrous metal recycling products standard system, nonferrous metals solid waste and non-ferrous metals recycling products inspection method standard system, and nonferrous metals recycling comprehensive utilization park construction standard system to promote the sustainable development of Chenzhou nonferrous metals industry.
