From June 7 to 8, 27 trainees of the 82nd department level cadre training course in the Provincial Party School conducted the special investigation on the development of various undertakings of economy society in Chenzhou. Municipal Standing Committee and Minister of United Front Work Department of Municipal Party Committee Wang Heping participated in the investigation and presided over the forum.

The trainees came to Zixing City, Yongxing County, high-tech zones and other places, and visited the Weifeng Toys Factory, Dongjiang Lake Large Data Industry Park, Zixing South Minsheng Road community, Guiyan Resources Company, Jenson Dispaly, Delta Electronics Co., Ltd., and Chenzhou World Nonferrous Metals Museum to field investigate the Chenzhou tourism development, business operation, open economy development of modern industrial park and other situations.

Since 2016, Chenzhou has earnestly implemented the strategy of "innovation leads, opening up" put forward in the 11th Party Congress, adhered to industry-led and all-round development, and accelerated the construction of "open Chenzhou".
At the forum, the trainees conducted deep exchanges combining with the two-day study and investigation and put forward their opinions and suggestions on the economic and social development of Chenzhou. They thought that Chenzhou relying on the location advantage of "South Gate", had increased the undertaking industrial transfer, made great achievements on various open economic indicators, and provided the advanced experience for other cities especially in the platform construction, precision investment, industry chain extension and other aspects. They will take this investigation as an opportunity to form high-quality investigation results for good experience of "opening up" and good practice, and provide strong bases to promote the provincial opening up strategy. At the same time they hoped that Chenzhou could further seize the development opportunities, strengthen the effectiveness of investment, and create new heights of opening up in the future.
