From June 14 to 15, Secretary General of Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee Peng Xianfa led the law enforcement inspection team to carry out the inspection and hold a forum on the implementation of "the copyright law of PRC" (hereinafter referred to as "Copyright Law") in Chenzhou. Party Secretary and Deputy Director of Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee Zhang Aiguo attended the forum.

Peng Xianfa and his entourage came to Chenzhou Computer City, Chenzhou Xinglong Bookstore, Municipal Finance Bureau, Municipal Bureau of Culture, Broadcasting, Television, Press and Publication, and the Cultural Market Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau to field inspect the various units, implement the "Copyright Law" and listen to the work report of our city.

Since the promulgation and implementation of the "Copyright Law", Chenzhou has deepened into the law and vigorously promoted the software legalization. In 2016, the departments at all levels dispatched 9825 law enforcement inspectors, confiscated more than 12600 pieces of illegal publications, participated in investigating and publishing more than 10 cases of press and publication, and fined more than 300,000 yuan to effectively safeguard the cultural security and social stability of our city.

Peng Xianfa fully affirmed the implementation effectiveness of the Copyright Law in Chenzhou. He pointed out that we should fully understand the significance of the law enforcement inspection, strengthen the common sense of law and strengthen the role of legal supervision to create a favorable environment for implementing the Copyright Law; should intensify the coordinate efforts, rationalize the working mechanism, and define the responsibilities of each department to further strengthen the supervision and strict law enforcement; should strengthen the administration of Copyright Law and strengthen the protection of copyright to guide the healthy development of related industries.

Zhang Aiguo pointed out that we should take the opportunity of the law enforcement inspection, adhere to the problem oriented, and supervise and support the relevant departments to further improve the rule of law in copyright work.
