On August 4, in the sixth "Dragon Figure Cup" National BIM (Building Information Model) contest in 2017, the Chenzhou Cigarette Factory Relocation Technical Transformation Project built by the 3rd Construction Co., Ltd of China Construction 5th Engineering Bureau was awarded the excellence prize of the construction team.

It was reported that the competition was organized by Chinese Graphic Society under the guidance and support of the China Association for Science and Technology, China Academy of Building Research, Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and other relevant government departments and research institutes. The 761 achievements were received in design, construction, synthesis and academy teams from all over the country, covering all stages of BIM applications.

After one month and a half of the initial evaluation of expert groups, 317 achievements were selected into the re-evaluation, of which 104 achievements passed the re-evaluation into the final defense. After the site defense and expert review of design, construction, synthesis and academy teams, the competition places of 4 teams were produced.
