On November 6th, the conference on the selection of scientific and technical commissioners to help poverty alleviation was held in Yizhang County. The author learned that the county carefully selected more than 80 scientific and technical commissioners to help the poor masses from 80 poor villages in 19 townships to get rid of poverty.

In order to give full play to the intellectual support of all kinds of talents in poverty elimination, the county issued a "Work plan for helping the people out of poverty in Yizhang County", made a thorough investigation of the demand for industrial development in poor villages and carefully selected science and technology commissioners to dock with poor villages, a number of backbone doctors to township hospitals and a group of outstanding teachers to the township primary and secondary schools after the integration of provincial, city, county and township human resources.

At the same time, the county set up the science and technology poverty alleviation expert services teams, and formed the "Agricultural expert teams", "Breeding expert teams", "Fruit expert teams", "Education support teams" and "Medical service teams" respectively according to the different professions and fields. Those teams regularly organized knowledge lectures, on-site consultation, clinic tour and other activities to help grassroots to solve the practical problems.
