To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), a grand gala was held in Chenzhou City on the evening of June 30.

Starting with chorus of "Forging Ahead, the Communist Party of China", the gala was divided into three chapters: "The Glory of the Original Aspiration Shines in Southern Hunan", "Carry on the Founding Mission", and "New Chapter for the Future".

The gala was presented in the form of short films, dances, songs, sitcoms etc., which vividly showed the century-long journey of the CPC and the bright future for the Party and the people. The gala came to an end in the chorus of "Without the Communist Party, There Would Be No New China".
