Administrative service reform brings great convenience

2022-06-19

“Every year, 43,000 elderly bus cards are issued at the urban area of Chenzhou city. After the “Four Exemptions” reform was carried out, which greatly simplifies the administrative process, dozens of thousands of elderly people can pick up their cards from the intelligent terminals at the neighborhood office near their home only by following the instructions on the screen after facial recognition, instead of going all the way to the city government affairs center for the card.” A staff of the center said that this reform can eliminate the need to fill and submit 24,000 paper materials every year, making it really convenient for the elderly.

The “Four Exemptions” reform refers to no forms to fill in, no materials to submit, no physical seals and no handwritten signatures required. It’s the reform initiated by Chenzhou across the province this year.

Recently, the city released the list of the first batch of reform items, including 53 items involved in 14 units, such as application for public travel permits to Taiwan, registration of enterprise social insurance and integrity assessment of drivers.

This reform is another measure Chenzhou has taken to improve its administrative services.
