Recently, a special consultation meeting on developing and strengthening the modern equipment industry was held in Chenzhou, where many suggestions and opinions were proposed to promote the chain development of industrial clusters and create public service platforms based on local resources.

 

According to the Chenzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Chenzhou’s equipment manufacturing industry has achieved the annual output value of over 30 billion yuan, and there are 229 equipment manufacturing enterprises above designated size in the city.

 

Chenzhou City has initially formed a modern equipment industry pattern centered on electric new energy equipment, casting and forging, and CNC machine tools, supported by special vehicles, mining machinery, as well as road and bridge equipment, featuring general aviation equipment as well as smart agricultural machinery equipment, and backed by circular economy like rare and precious metal recycling, which involves the “full life cycle” industrial chain from materials, products to recycling.

 

The backbone enterprises of equipment manufacturing in Chenzhou are striding toward the high-end industrial chain, innovation chain, and value chain. 

 

Sany Renewable Energy has continuously made breakthroughs in the research and development of high-power wind turbines and ultra-long wind turbine fiberglass blades.

 

The rice processing equipment of Hunan Chenzhou Grain and Oil Machinery Co., Ltd. has been awarded the “Single Champion in Manufacturing Industry” by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. 

 

The market share of tracked tractors manufactured by Hunan Nongfu Machinery &Electronic Co., Ltd. ranks among the top in the country. 

 

The gyroplane developed by Xiangchen General Airlines fills the gap in the domestic market. 

 

Jiahe County has hundreds of casting and forging products, which are exported to Europe, America, Africa, Southeast Asia and other places.

 

Chenzhou is accelerating the formulation of special plans for five industries like casting and forging, CNC machine tools, and smart agricultural machinery and equipment, and strengthening the precise investment attraction of the industrial chain and the cultivation of local industrial supporting enterprises.

 

At the same time, it deepens the cooperation between upstream and downstream industries, and encourages casting and forging enterprises in Jiahe County to reach out to agricultural machinery and new energy equipment enterprises for procurement needs.

 

Li Luosi, deputy mayor of Chenzhou City, said that Chenzhou plans to establish the Chenzhou Equipment Manufacturing Industry Research Institute with universities within the province, accelerate the construction of innovation platforms such as the Chenjiang Laboratory and the Chenzhou Science and Technology Supermarket, and build the Yuelu Mountain Industrial Innovation Center Chenzhou Regional Center, striving to create an innovation model of “R&D outside and industry in Chenzhou”.
