Since the beginning of this year, Chenzhou has continued efforts to promote the development of the agricultural product processing industry, strengthen the non-ferrous metal new materials and cultural tourism industries, accelerate the development of lithium battery new energy and modern equipment industries, and lay out the development of the digital industry.

 

Agricultural product processing is a traditional advantageous industry in Chenzhou. This year, a total of 16 landmark agricultural product processing projects have been implemented in the city, with a total investment of 5.724 billion yuan. Besides, Chenzhou City has built the Anren County National Modern Agricultural Industrial Park, Rucheng County and Jiahe County National Pepper Industry Cluster, and Jiahe Jinping National Agricultural Industry Strong Town.

 

At present, there are 6 national agricultural leading enterprises and 225 “vegetable basket” certification bases for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in the city.

 

Chenzhou has now promoted the extension of the mining industry towards deep processing. The nonferrous metal new materials industry has achieved a production value of 120 billion yuan this year, accounting for a large proportion in Hunan. Hunan SILVER Co., Ltd.  has completed a major asset restructuring.

 

Chenzhou has continued efforts to advance the development of cultural tourism industry. It has been awarded the title of “Most Charming Tourist Destination” and included among the “50 Most Popular Treasure Towns in the First Half of 2024”. The Mangshan Mountain in Yizhang City was listed among the first famous tourist mountains in the world. The Huilong Mountain in Zixing City was rated as a national 4A-level tourist attraction.

 

Chenzhou has been striving to build a lithium battery industry cluster integrating lithium ore, materials, batteries, terminals, and recycling, with nearly 200 large-scale enterprises and an output value exceeding 70 billion yuan. 

 

It has upgraded the modern equipment industry and formed a number of well-known characteristic brands, such as grain machines, agricultural machinery, and fans.

 

It has also introduced a number of major digital economy investment projects. The Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industrial Park has been included in the two major computing power clusters in Hunan.
