Chenzhou has achieved an annual signing amount of 200 billion yuan for three consecutive years and has been praised by the provincial government for building a highland for inland reform and opening up for three consecutive years. Chenzhou made a typical speech at the symposium on investment promotion held by the province.

 

Chenzhou has established a high-level joint operation command center for investment promotion, set up four major investment promotion centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Changsha, and formed seven industrial chain investment promotion teams. As the southern gate of Hunan, Chenzhou, taking the Greater Bay Area as its main focus, has introduced 465 major projects worth over 200 million yuan from the Greater Bay Area in the past three years. 80% of its investment projects are from the Greater Bay Area.

 

Chenzhou has established a “chain leader” responsibility system, with each county and park having 2 to 3 main and special industries. A large number of main and special industry chain investment projects from Sany and Vazyme have been introduced in the past three years. Meanwhile, Chenzhou has introduced 493 projects from Hunan-born entrepreneurs returning to Chenzhou and 124 resource-based projects, attracted 199 scale enterprises for lithium battery new energy, and upgraded 141 existing enterprises. 2 enterprises have been included among “enterprises with revenue of ten billion yuan”.

 

Chenzhou has taken the lead in carrying out the “approval and supply synchronization of land for industrial projects and establishing the “land supermarket” in the country. It has also launched 39 measures such as “two specialists” services and cost reduction to enhance the reputation of a “worry-free” business environment brand in Chenzhou.

 

The Development and Reform Commission of Hunan Province recently released a report on the business environment in the province. Chenzhou is one of four cities with excellent performance. Eight regions including Beihu District, Suxian District, as well as Guiyang County and seven industrial parks such as Chenzhou Economic Development Zone, Chenzhou High-tech Zone, as well as Suxian Development Zone were rated as “excellent”.
