An assessment team for Chenzhou city’s establishment of “hot spring city of China” visited Zixing city on September 17, 2013 to check its detailed development and utilization of hot spring. It was pointed out by the team that Zixing city should pay much more attention on Tangxi town for its further development and utilization of hot spring and try to forge it to be “hot spring tourism town”. It would be helpful for Zixing city’s tourism development by promoting the hot spring industry.

After visiting the hot spring exploration points in Xingning town and Tangxi town, a symposium was held afterward to check Zixing city’s working report on establishment work of “hot spring city of China”

“Tangxi hot spring cultural town” project would be launched in next phase, so more efforts would be tried to improve Tangxi’s transportation and infrastructure condition. It was planned to be formed as one of the tourism entrances of Dongjiang lake landscape. It was purposely to promote Zixing city’s hot spring tourism to be with unique features with different functions.
The investigation team highly affirmed Zixing city’s work on the construction of establishment of “hot spring city of China” and presented some reasonable suggestions on further development of hot spring, infrastructure construction, renovation of the town, exploration of hot spring resources, and etc. It was stated that more efforts should be tried by Zixing city to seize the chance of the establishment of “hot spring city of China”to promote Zixing city’s tourism development.
