Tips for Enjoying Hot Spring

1. It is inappropriate for taking hot spring bath when you are tired

It is better to take good rest when you are tired, if taking bath instead, it would be high cardiopulmonary burden for your body. It is not suitable for taking hot spring bath after meal and drinking within one hour, lacking of sleep, or after strenuous exercise either.

 

2.Time limit

Generally speaking, the temperature of hot spring is around 38-42℃ which is little higher than body temperature, so the best time limit for hot spring bath is 10-15 minutes every time and less than three times every day. On this point, it would be good for your heart. It is ok for heat dissipation by convection, radiation and sweating when you are in the condition under 30℃, but if higher than 36℃, the only way is sweating. If keeping staying in the hot spring water, it is not capable for the evaporation of sweat, so it would be suffered with heat stroke if taking too long time hot spring bath.

 

3. orders for taking hot spring bath

It is better to take the hot spring bath step by step to adapt to the water gradually. First- moistening your body: testing the hot spring water’s temperature and pouring the water on legs, arms, and body. Second- entering the pool: standing up to soak feet first, then lower half of your body (part lower heart), finally the whole body (part above heart).

 

4. leaving the pool slowly

It is better to leave the pool slowly as you enter the pool. Standing up firstly to adapt to the condition, and then leave the pool.

 

5. taking a shower

Although most hot spring operators recommended the clients not to take shower after taking hot spring bath to reach the best effect of skin care with some minerals of the hot spring, actually it is better to take a shower for some minerals are not good for your health if infilter into your skin.

 

6.drying your body

All pores are open after taking hot spring bath to sweat. It is better to dry your body immediately to avoid catching cold.

 

7. drinking water

Your body water easily to run off under the high temperature condition, so it is better to drink some hot water after taking hot spring bath.

 

8. taking rest first

It is with faster metabolism after taking hot spring bath, so it is better not to take some other activities after the bath, such as drinking, eating, etc.
Some ingredients of tartaric acid skin care products would be with some adverse chemical reactions with the hot spring water, so it is better to clean your body first before using them.
