The industrial zone, consisting of an industrial park and five project districts, is expected to complement in function and bring about the best in each other. The Tantang Industrial Park, core of the zone, focuses on casting as its short-term goal and manufacturing as its distant view which will attract manufacturing enterprises of complete machine equipment, machining and precision casting with an investment of above 20 million yuan.

The five project districts (Xinglang, Yuanjia, Tanping, Tangcun and Longtan), supporting points of the zone, is oriented towards a cluster of supplementary enterprises of preliminary processing. Aiming at establishing an industrial zone with distinctive features of the regional characteristics, reasonable industrial layout and coordinated development; the government wishes to adhere to the one industry-based layout of concentration, land-intensive and industrial gathering principles.
