On the afternoon of May 3, Dai Daojin, secretary of the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee presided over Chenzhou inspection and supervision meeting on major projects, to debrief the project construction situation. Mr. Dai pointed out that efforts should be exerted to speed up major construction projects, maintain leapfrog development in a scientific manner, safe and stable growth, and solid and harmonious state in Chenzhou City.

 

 

From this January to April, the 772 major construction projects of the city secured 19 billion yuan in all, accounting for 24% of the annual plan. In terms of quality of products, industrial projects took the bigger share of 8.5 billion yuan. Energy saving and environmental protection projects enjoyed the greatest progress, completing 29% of the planned investment. Major projects of counties (cities, districts) and industrial parks witnessed stepped-up construction. Chenzhou Nonferrous Industrial Park (Chenzhou Export Processing Zone), Rucheng County, Guiyang County, Anren County, Guidong County and Yizhang County and industrial parks registered over 30% of the intended investment.
