Chenzhou has recently decided to offer prizes worth 100,000 yuan for Outstanding Contribution to Sci-tech Innovation. This move aims to enhance initiative and creativity amongst individuals and organizations that are engaged in sci-tech work, according to the Chenzhou Municipal Science and Technology Department. The non-grading prize will be presented every two years for no more than two outstanding achievements in principle. The prize-winning achievement that yields remarkable economic benefits will be given more than 100,000 yuan bonus 　

 

 

In order to promote the sci-tech R&D, application, popularization, transformation and industrialization of sci-tech achievements, the municipal government has issued the Reward Plan for Science and Technology Achievements. According to the plan, the Chenzhou Municipal Sci-tech Award will include the Sci-tech Advance Prize and the newly-launched Prize for Outstanding Contribution to Sci-tech Innovation.
