On May 25th, the expert panel of garden county constructing in Chenzhou City conducted a comprehensive assessment of Linwu’s efforts in forging itself into a garden county at the provincial level. These experts unanimously agreed that Linwu is qualified to apply to be a provincial level garden county, owing to its distinctive and high-level achievements in afforestation, landscaping and maintenance.

 

 

Since 2009, Linwu has invested 0.4 billion yuan to build an open, distinctive and livable county. The CPC Linwu County Committee and Linwu County People's Government, motivated by elevating the quality of the county, urged to accelerate the overall work of developing the county into a garden city with afforestation as the main handhold. Linwu has been building a 5-kilometer recreational scenic belt along Wushui River and Shaxihe River. In addition, a total of 6 million yuan has been invested to innovate construction area management and increase the green land by 33,000 square meters.
