Xiang Lili, deputy secretary of the Chenzhou Municipal CPC Committee and mayor of Chenzhou, presided over the 61st executive meeting on June 8. At the meeting, issues on the comprehensive treatment of source water, the further standardization of Chenzhou’s financing platform, the market management of tourist transport, as well as the inclusion of Suxian project area into the Chenzhou Non-ferrous Metal Industrial Park were deliberated.

As pointed out at the meeting, highlights and more efforts should be put to the comprehensive treatment of the source water in Chenzhou, which is the very source of Xiangjiang River, Ganjiang River and Zhujiang River. It is agreed upon at the meeting that more projects on water conservancy projects and ecological construction be taken as national ones. It is also suggested that the forest coverage in Chenzhou should be further improved so as to make Chenzhou’s urban and rural areas greener in 3 years. 

The financing platform of Chenzhou is to be further regulated and improved by virtue of sound policies and opportunities. Thereby, relevant formalities are to be simplified and the efficiency increased.

As one of China's top tourist cities, the tourist transport in Chenzhou should also be further regularized to upgrade the city image and give more convenience to the citizens and tourists.
