Hunan's first county-level health care informatization demonstration project went operational in Anren County, Chenzhou City on June 21. Digitalized out-patient procedures are expected to bring the localites great convenience. Xiao Yayu, vice director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Hunan Province attended the opening ceremony.

 

　　

This project was launched in Anren last July. Up to now, the county has established fully working health care information network, through which, hospitals share resources and medical service information. At Anren County People's Hospital, doctors and nurses are permitted to review patients' records through clinical mobile doctor information system and clinical mobile nursing information system before prescriptions are prepared. Patients enjoy personalized medical care and their medical information is automatically filed after they are discharged from the hospital. Every hospital across the county has access to this health care file.
