In recent years, based on its fundamental realities, Rucheng County in Chenzhou City has vigorously pushed forward infrastructure construction to optimize investment environment. Taking advantage of its central location at the border of Hunan, Guangdong and Jiangxi, Rucheng has carried out a series of activities to solicit investment and to give impetus to comprehensive social and economic development.

 Making full use of Xiangmen-Chengdu Expressway and Hunan-Shenzhen Expressway, the county has launched construction of transport and industrial park projects worth more than 1 billion yuan, which appeal to many strategic investors. China Guodian Corporation commenced a wind power project involving a total investment of above 4 billion yuan. Other leading enterprises such as China Pacific Construction Group, Sinochem Group and China Fangda Group Co., Ltd also started their businesses in Rucheng, expediting the intra-county economic development in Chenzhou.

It was revealed that the county has introduced 126 strategic investment projects with an investment of over 7 billion yuan in the past two years. During the first five months this year, the fiscal revenue of the county hit 336 million yuan, rising by 30.51% over the same period of previous year.
