Chenzhou Hosted Directors' Conference of Hunan's Stability Preservation Offices

Directors' Conference of Hunan's Stability Preservation Offices convened in Chenzhou on July 12. The conference conveyed the spirit of National Symposium on Preserving Stability, and emphasized on President Hu Jintao's speech about stability and development at CPC Anniversary Gathering delivered on July 1.
 
Dai Daojin, secretary of the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee participated in the meeting and briefed on stability-preservation work as well as economic and social development in Chenzhou. Li Shixian, deputy director of Stability Preservation Office of Hunan Province presided over the meeting. Wang Biyuan, secretary of Commission of Politics and Law of the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee also attended the conference.
 
Mr. Dai stated that in recent years, Chenzhou City has fostered the idea of "considering safety cost while growing, considering stability cost while developing", and pushed forward the construction of a law-ruled, safe and harmonious Chenzhou. In 2010, Chenzhou ranked the second amongst Hunan Province in terms of comprehensive management of public security and stability-preservation work. In the first half of this year, the city topped the province in public security and opinion poll of cadre construction.
 
Dai pointed that during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period (2011-2015), Chenzhou will stick to the implementation city's planning scheme on construction of the most exposed city in Hunan Province and the central city amongst the border area of Hunan, Guangxi and Guangdong. By seizing the strategy of the new-type industrialization, new urbanization, agricultural modernization, informatization and construction of the "Two-oriented" Society set by the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Hunan Provincial People's Government, grasping the strategic prospect of accelerating rise of south Hunan and developing central city in the border areas, the city will strive to develop its society and economy by leaps and bounds in a scientific manner.
