The delegation headed by Liu Sushe, deputy director of the Regional Bureau of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), came to south Hunan's Chenzou City to investigate its construction of demonstration areas for undertaking industrial transfer on July 18, 2011.

 

The delegation visited Chenzhou Nonferrous Metals Industrial Park and hi-tech enterprises such as Hunan Hualei Optoelectronic Corporation, Chenzhou Grepow New Energy Co., Ltd., and Delta Electronics Inc. They also listened to the report from the Development and Reform Commission of Hunan Province on the construction of demonstration areas for undertaking industrial transfer in south Hunan (Chenzhou, Yongzhou and Hengyang) especially Chenzhou.

 

As a key part for the demonstration areas construction in this area, Chenzhou has made great achievements in industrial transfer undertaking. Its actually utilized foreign investment in 2010 reached 529 million USD, a year-on-year increase of 13.8%; its paid-in domestic investment amounted to 18.22 billion yuan, rising by 16.6% over the previous year.
