Shou Jiahua, president of the China Association of Decoration Stones announced in Beijing on July 19 that Chenzhou of Hunan Province is bestowed with "A City of Decoration Stones in China" and "Home of Mineral Crystals". Thus, Chenzhou becomes the only city in the province and the only prefecture-level city in China that has won the titles.

In view of the special role of Chenzhou's mineral crystal in China and even the world, the city is approved to host the Second China International Mineral Crystal Summit Forum in the fourth quarter this year. Experts and scholars from over twenty countries and regions will attend the event.

Six Changsha municipal leaders including He Jianxiang were present at the review and approval meeting.
