Yin Xuelang, vice director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Land and Resources conducted inspection in Chenzhou with Hunan Provincial Inspection Group on Excessive Mining from August 16 to 20.
　　

Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou Shou Jianzhong reported that Chenzhou has launched a campaign on regulating excessive mining in an all-around way. The city has closed down companies which violate the regulations concerning excessive mining, making good progress in rectifying illegal behaviors, Shou remarked.
　　

The group visited fifteen key mine areas in seven counties and regions of Chenzhou. They affirmed the achievements Chenzhou has made in the campaign, through which Chenzhou attained unique experience in combating excessive mining. However, the city should classify the excessive mining problems and handle them properly so as to rectify and regulate mineral resources and boom mineral economy, the group required.
