The CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee and Chenzhou Municipal People's Government held the 2011 Business Take over and Investments Promotion Symposium between Chenzhou, Hunan and Suzhou, Jiangsu on August 26.

 

In the morning, Jiang Hongkun, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee met with a delegation of the representatives from the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee and Chenzhuo municipal government.

 

Li Quanlin, deputy secretary of the NPC Standing Committee of Jiangsu Provincial  and Dai Daojin, secretary of the CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee, both delivered a speech at the conference. Xiang Lili, mayor of Chenzhou introduced Chenzhou's advantages, environment and opportunities for investment.

 

Chenzhou promoted a total of 120 projects in industry manufacture, energy and city infrastructure, agriculture industrialization and modern service industry. 12 projects were agreed on site, with an investment of 9.925 billion yuan, among which six contracted projects and six agreed ones solicited 4.675 billion yuan and 5.25 billion yuan respectively. Particularly, there were six projects attracting more than one billion yuan each.
