Chenzhou Opens 15 Parks to the Public

Covering a construction area of about 1.7474 million square meters and involving a total investment of 343 million yuan, 15 parks in downtown of Chenzhou City were opened to the public simultaneously on the morning of August 29. Dai Daojin and Xiang Lili, secretary and deputy secretary of the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee respectively, and other municipal leaders such as Mao Tengfei attended the opening ceremony.
Dai stated that the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee and Chenzhou Municipal People's Government are endeavoring to build Chenzhou into the most open city in Hunan and the central city in the region surrounding Hunan, Guangdong and Jiangxi provinces, and turn it into a state-level civilized city, sanitary city and garden city. In the past two years, Chenzhou has constructed over 40 parks and built ten mountains and ten lakes, which greatly improved the city's image and people's livelihood.
The municipal government is always adhering to ecological construction and striving to make Chenzhou into a livable city featuring forestation and leisure.
