It is revealed from the opening ceremony of the Seventh Hunan-Taiwan Cooperation Conference on Economy and Trade that Hunan and Taiwan have reached agreements on 128 projects, with a total investment up to 56.76 billion yuan without precedent. Among them, 67 projects are funded by Taiwan-based enterprises, concerning $2.35-billion investment.
Those projects involve industrial manufacture, processing trade, energy, urban infrastructure, agriculture industrialization and modern service industries.
Chenzhou City has successfully secured 46.7 billion yuan investment on 104 projects, 43 of which are invested by Taiwan part with a total investment of $1.38 billion.
In particular, the investment on three projects namely Ruchen Wind Farm Development, Sany Heavy Industry's Anren Industrial Park and Houpu City Complex all exceeds 100 $million.
