Secretary of the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee Dai Daojin received an exclusive interview from such provincial media as Hunan Daily, Hunan Satellite Television, and Hunan Economic Television on the morning of September 29.
During the interview, Dai pledged that Chenzhou City will start a new journey in forging itself into the most open city of Hunan Province and a core city in the border area of Hunan, Guangxi and Guangdong provinces, while “openness” continues to empower the progress.
During the three years of implementing the above mentioned strategy, Chenzhou has witnessed crucial breakthroughs in balancing urban and rural development, rapid expansion of the city size, significant improvement in urban construction and management, and unprecedented enhancement in urban competitiveness and attraction, said Dai.
Dai also highlighted that Chenzhou will abandon the traditional thinking of inland city and strive to be an international city featured by a higher degree of openness and export orientation, aiming to build Chenzhou into a bridgehead connecting the inland area to the coastal area instead of the backyard garden of Guangdong Province, Hong Kong and Macao.
