The 2011 China (Chenzhou) International Tourism Culture Festival themed as "A green and leisure city" kicked off at Longnv Scenic Area in Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, on the morning of Oct. 18.

 

 

Vice Governor of Hunan Province He Baoxiang attended the opening ceremony, and Secretary of Beihu District Party Committee Wang Zhou delivered an address of welcome. Dai Daojin, secretary of the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee made a speech and Xiang Lili, mayor of Chenzhou, presided over the opening ceremony.

 

 

At the opening ceremony, Director of the Hunan Tourism Bureau Yang Guangrong introduced that since 1997, Chenzhou has successfully hosted several ecological tourism festivals. The theme this year not only highlights Chenzhou's characteristics but also follows the new development trend in tourism industry.
