On October 27, the forum on transformation and development of Hunan Construction industry was held in Chenzhou. Gao Keqin, director-general of the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department of Hunan Province, presided over the meeting. Liao Yuancun, director of the Hunan Provincial Key Project Construction Office, attended the forum along with other municipal leaders such as Zhang Ai'Guo, Yuan Jiayou and Xu Licheng.
   

This forum aimed at guiding enterprises to enhance the capital management and change the development mode by making a breakthrough in the transformation of construction industry. It was emphasized that the transformation of construction industry should be sped up and further government support should be given to optimize the external environment.
   

The attendants visited the Chenzhou Olympic Sports Center (COSC), the Chenzhou Exhibition Center and the Yuhou Street Scenic Area. Such Hunan enterprises as the China Construction Fifth Engineering Division Corp., Ltd (Hunan), the Hunan Construction Engineering Group Corporation, the Hunan Gaoling Construction Group Stock Limited Company, and the Hunan Shuntian Construction Group Corporation discussed with the Nantong Sijian Construction Group Co., Ltd. from Jiangsu Province on how to transform and upgrade the building industry.
