The experience exchange conference on the protection of Chenzhou's intangible cultural heritage and the training course on the Intangible Cultural Heritage Law of the People's Republic of China (ICH Law) concluded in Rucheng County on December 2. Nearly 50 people including officials from 11 counties, county-level cities and districts across Chenzhou, chiefs of Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center, and special cadres in this field attended the 3-day training.
During the training course, chiefs from Rucheng, Guiyang and Linwu introduced their experiences in protecting intangible cultural heritage respectively. Experts from Hunan Provincial Department of Culture were invited to deeply explore the theoretical and practical aspects of ICH Law.
The trainees remarked that they benefited a lot from the training course, which will contribute vastly towards promoting legalization of Chenzhou's intangible cultural heritage protection and upgrading the professional levels of personnel in this filed.
