From the classification of the projects, projects construction of the whole city mainly focused on five fields, such as traffic, city, industry, well-being and etc.

Infrastructure construction is still the big concern among all. Chenzhou will arrange 243 major projects with total investment of 104.6 billion yuan and the annual planning investment of 33.2 billion.

In the field of industrial transformation, Chenzhou will keep giving priority to the new pattern of industrialization. In 2012, Chenzhou will launch the activity as "Year of Promoting Strategic Emerging Industry". Its total investment and annual planning investment on 276 industrial and agricultural projects are 103.7 billion and 25.7 billion yuan respectively.

On the expanding of consumption, Chenzhou arranged total investment of 53.5 billion and annual planning investment 12 billion for 116 major projects with the focus on promoting Port International Logistics Center, non-ferrous metals trading center and other modern logistics projects.

There are 239 major projects for the people's livelihood with total investment 90.9 billion and the annual planning investment 25.4 billion yuan for the purpose of affordable housing project, safe drinking water in rural areas, and comprehensive control project of land and etc.

On energy conservation and emission reduction, total investment of 24.1 billion and annual planning investment 5.8 billion yuan will be arranged for the purpose of good control of heavy metal pollution in Xiangjiang River, the transformation of resources- exhausted city, mine geological environment management, water source protection, Yongxing's mineral products, sewage disposal, ecological restoration, and recycling economy project and etc.
