Chenzhou City Signed 17 Projects Agreement Amounting to 33.41 Billion yuan with Central Enterprises

On March 12, 2012, the forum of cooperation between Chenzhou(Beijing) and central enterprises and projects signing ceremony was held in Beijing. Chenzhou city signed projects agreement with 17 central enterprises with protocol capital of 33.41 billion. Shenhua Group and other five of the worlds' top 500 enterprises entered into Chenzhou. Secretary of Provincial Party Committee and Director of Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee—Zhou Qiang, Deputy Director of the State Council SASAC and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee—Shao Ning, Member of Provincial Party Committee, Vice Governor—Chen Zhaoxiong were present at the ceremony; Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee—Xiang Lili delivered his speech at the ceremony; Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Mayor—QuHai signed contracts with the 4 central enterprises on behalf of Chenzhou government.

On this grand ceremony,six of the worlds' top 500 enterprises such as Shenhua Group, China Minerals Corporation, China Guodian Corporation, China Datang Corporation, China Resources, and COSCO Group signed the contract with Chenzhou. Besides, 26 central enterprises and responsible persons of 65 central enterprises witnessed the glory moment.

The main projects signed with these enterprises focused on the promotion of an international, modern and open city and good projects of "Four Modernization and Two Types" corresponding to national industrial policy with characteristics of large scales of investment, strong driving impetus, which can greatly help to improve Chenzhou's development of society and economy. The biggest amount project among all was 10 billion yuan, while there were 6 projects with more than 2 billion yuan, all of which coincided with the central enterprises strategies and reflected Chenzhou's advantages in resources and industrial characteristics.
