On August 9, 2012, Pan Taiping- Director of Hong Kong SAR Government’s Chengdu Economy and Trade Office took an investigation on Chenzhou investment attraction and industrial park construction. After visiting Chenzhou Processing Industrial Park, Pan Taiping pointed out that Chenzhou’s investment attraction work had been practically and comprehensively arranged.

In recent years, by seizing the chance of Hunan provincial party committee and Hunan government’s support on Chenzhou undertaking industrial transfer with 34 favorable policies, Chenzhou has attracted 1.62 billion dollars foreign investments and 56.39 billion yuan domestic endowment, 1.7 times and 1.6 times compared with that in the earlier three years. Meanwhile, international import & export gross value hit 3.07 billion dollars and processing trade import & export value reached 780 million yuan, 2.3 times and 5.2 times compared with that of the earlier three years. Furthermore, 1127 new transfer enterprises were introduced into Chenzhou city.

Pan Taiping and his team also took visits to Daomu Technology Co., Ltd., and Hong Kong industrial park selected place. Pan stated that Chenzhou government had issued relative policies to support firms’ development with good service work in the industrial park. Chenzhou was a good base for industrial transfer and worth their deep analysis, the understanding of which would be concluded into reports for different commerce chambers of Hong Kong, assisting the Federation of Hong Kong Industry’s visit to Chenzhou next month. Pan also hoped that there would be more enterprises from Hong Kong to invest into Chenzhou city.
