Guidong Santai Mountain forest park of Chenzhou city was reconstructed well before this National Day holiday. The park covers 5753mu areas and is a national AAA landscape. Now it becomes the core part of Guidong ecological construction which greatly enriches Guidong county’s tourism brand of “healthy heaven, summer resort” .

Guidong county set a tourism development plan of “creating an AAAA level landscape, building a four-star tourism hotel, establishing a five-star village demonstration plot, building a tourism cultural street with local characteristics, and establishing a provincial civilized sanitary county” to improve the tourism. Now the county is working on the construction of 10 tourism projects like Santai mountain park, Linglongwang international hotel, leisure mountain resort, the second phase of military regulations square, dream ecological villa, etc.. All these projects demonstrate Guidong county’s regulation, tea, health, customs and other local cultural characteristics, which upgrade its tourism industry influence.

After years' construction, Guidong county has formed a leisure tourism plan and some fine travel lines like 60000mu tea parks, 150,000mu bamboo parks, 120,000mu Chinese traditional medicine parks, the nursery-grown plant gallery, etc. together with some special agricultural foods like Linglong tea and Hahaniu and local custom performances like bench dragon show, etc.. Visitors were impressed with the unique experience in Guidong county.
