Great change has taken place in Guiyang villages; for instance, the new installed solar street lamps enabled people to go home with bright lights at night, so that even they are dismissed at middle night, they would not be scared for facing unexpected dangers.

A project named “lighting up villages” is being carried out forcefully in Guiyang County this year. A special fund amounting to 100 million yuan was allocated from Guiyang fiscal budget, which was mainly used for the rewards of 117 lighting up village projects and cleaning projects in 38 towns, 39 new rural demonstration villages, 33 visual administrative villages along provincial roads. 1874 street lamps of 2190 planning installed solar lamps have already been finished to enrich villagers’ night life and grant people with better sense of security. Just as one of the village official introduced, there would be no stealing and robbery incidents happening after their installation.
