The 4th China International Capsicum Industry Exposition 2012 was unveiled at the Red Star International Exhibition Center, Changsha, on November 1. The exposition is a globally capsicum industry oriented fair。

The organizing meeting will turn to the embassies and consulates in China, trade promotion institutions, chambers, and associations from America, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Brazil, India, Mexico, etc. for organizing their capsicum and capsicum related enterprises to Changsha for visit, exposition, purchasing, and business negotiation. All these moves aim to help domestic enterprises go global, build a better international exchange platform for capsicum industry, learn the world's advanced technologies in capsicum processing, and expand the international market share.

A series of activities, such as gold awards, top 20, home of Chinese capsicums, competition of thousands of people eating capsicums, ode to the joy of foodies, will be held during the exposition in a move to enhance the influence of the governments of capsicum production, elevate the reputation and brand image of the exhibitors, and improve the quality of the exposition.
