1.2 Billion Yuan Civil Affairs Funds Allocated by Chenzhou Government

It was reported in the debriefing meeting of Chenzhou civil affairs condition that 1.2 billion yuan funds had been allocated on social assistance, pension grants, renovation of dilapidated buildings in rural areas, etc., up 30% compared with 0.92 billion yuan of last year.

 

Thanks to the upgrading of social assistance in urban & rural areas of Chenzhou city, both of the per capita minimum living standard of urban & rural areas and scattered support standard of five rural guarantee family exceeded Hunan provincial assessment target, reaching 229.5 yuan, 100.3 yuan, and 2158 yuan separately. 558 million yuan of minimum living standards of urban & rural areas were issued to 349.76 thousand people with the basic cost of living allowance, up 69 million yuan compared with last year; 65.63 million yuan funds were issued to medical assistance of urban and rural areas, up 8.35 million yuan compared with last year and 43.43 million yuan funds were issued to scattered support standard of rural five guarantee families. Furthermore, Chenzhou city paid more attention to the construction of gerocomium in rural areas. Till now, 29 rural gerocomiums have been finished. In the meantime, 283 million yuan renovation funds and 213 million yuan pension funds were allocated accordingly to fully implement the double support and preferential treatment policies.

 

Some cadres of the State Civil Affairs Ministry and Hunan provincial Civil Affairs Ministry, and Chenzhou government cadres attended the meeting.
