The Hunan Provincial Education Association for International Exchange announced on January 3 that it will select 100 excellent high school students from Hunan who will act as young cultural exchange envoy, to the United States for one-year intercultural exchange in 2013. Following the selection of high school exchange students by the AFS (American Field Service) Intercultural Programs in December last year, the second selection in Hunan is scheduled to be held in Changsha during January 26 and 27, 2013.

According to the official of the association, the outstanding students after strict selection will live in a voluntary home-stay family with free accommodation and attend the American public high school for free.
